Job Title: Network SME Engineer (CCIE Certified)
We are seeking a highly experienced Network SME Engineer with a mandatory active CCIE Lab Certification to support enterprise-scale network architecture, design, and troubleshooting initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Routing & Switching, Cloud Networking, and IPv6 environments, along with hands-on experience in complex network migrations and large-scale deployments.
Mandatory Requirements
- Active CCIE Lab Certification (Routing & Switching or Service Provider) Required
- Minimum 12+ years of enterprise network engineering experience
- Must be local to New York City, NY or Alpharetta, GA for onsite client evaluation
- Strong hands-on experience in Routing & Switching
Technical / Functional Skills
- Advanced knowledge of Networking (Routing & Switching), Cloud, and IPv6
- Expertise in network protocols: BGP, OSPF, Spanning Tree, Multicast
- Hands-on experience with Cisco and Arista network platforms
- Strong knowledge of IP routing platforms: ISR, ASR1K, ASR9K, Catalyst 9K, Nexus 9K
- Multicast technologies: IGMPv2/v3, PIM, Static RP, Anycast RP
- Overlay technologies: IPSec, DMVPN, VXLAN
- Experience with high-speed cabling and optics: 10G / 25G / 40G / 50G / 100G (including breakout cables/panels)
- Knowledge of: Cisco ISE, TACACS, DNS, DHCP
- Exposure to Ansible (preferred)
- Strong experience with IPv4/IPv6 environments
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop network solutions across Campus, Data Center, and Cloud environments
- Work extensively with IPv4 and IPv6 architectures
- Identify and analyze communication flows between end devices and edge systems
- Execute and oversee testing for: Data gathering, Aggregation, Analytics capabilities
- Troubleshoot complex network issues involving: BGP, OSPF, Routing & Switching
- Support network migrations and transformations
- Ensure reliable connectivity for IoT devices and sensors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure network solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in large enterprise environments
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Exposure to network automation using Ansible
- Experience working with multi-vendor network ecosystems
Special Requirements

Compensation & Location
Salary: $70 – $90 per year (Estimated)
