Job Title: Oracle CWB Functional Consultant

This is a 6-month contract role focusing on Oracle EBS R12.2 Compensation Workbench (CWB) and related modules. The consultant will be responsible for managing and configuring CWB, Core HR, and SSHR, driving requirement gathering, and supporting testing cycles.

Pre-Screening Questionnaire:

  1. Compensation Workbench Functional Consultant – Oracle EBS HR R12.2
  2. Conducted at least 2-3 comp life cycles in Oracle HR Compensation Workbench – R12.2 EBS

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:

  • Oracle E Business Suite R12 (12.1.x / 12.2.x) – Compensation WorkBench, Payroll, Core HR, SSHR, OAF Self Service.
  • Strong understanding of Compensation Plan Designs.
  • Strong knowledge of cwb plan structures
  • Knowledge about the compensation processes/steps/flows/tasks.
  • Knowledge about configuration of dynamic columns
  • Deep understanding of comp roles like Worksheet Managers and Administrators
  • Experience with HRMS configuration workbench
  • Hands-on experience with HR Security Profiles, Custom Security, Security Groups, Org Hierarchies.
  • Expertise with AME, Approvals, Fast Formulas (functional understanding).
  • Strong exposure to AOL objects (Users, Responsibilities, Menus, Functions, Profile Options).
  • Familiarity with AOL setups – Value Sets, Lookups, UDTs, Concurrent Programs, Request Groups.
  • Knowledge of HR Workflows, Mailer setups, and Notifications.
  • Understanding of integrations, inbound/outbound interfaces, XML Publisher, Alerts, WebADIs.
  • Experience in test cycles – Unit, SIT, UAT, Regression, Payroll Parallel Runs.
  • Understanding of HR audits, access reviews, and GRC controls.
  • Ability to write BR100, MD050 (Functional), TE040 test scripts, SOPs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and configure CWB, Core HR, SSHR.
  • Drive requirement gathering workshops, GAP analysis, and functional design documentation.
  • Able to create life events, eligibility profiles, formulas, options, plans, rates and plan enrollment requirements.
  • Able to award and publish budgets, make allocations and refreshes
  • Able to post the comp plans to payroll.
  • Maintain and update HR Security Profiles, Custom Security, and Organization Hierarchies.
  • Support functional testing across Unit, SIT, UAT, Payroll Parallel runs.
  • Review HR processes, propose optimizations, and ensure best practices.
  • Coordinate with Technical teams on integrations, conversions, customizations, and reports.
  • Validate payroll calculations, costing, and end-to-end process flows.
  • Support AME rules, workflow approvals, form personalizations (functional view).
  • Conduct HR data validations and support employee data corrections.
  • Perform impact analysis for patches, upgrades, and monthly releases.
  • Create user training documents and provide end-user training.
  • Work with SOA/EDI/Network/IDM teams for functional coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with HR audits, security reviews, and change management processes.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Cleveland, OH
