Job Overview
Teamware Solutions is seeking an experienced VMware Architect with expertise in vSphere/ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, NSX (T), Aria/vRealize Suite, SRM, HCX, and Tanzu/Kubernetes. This role involves working with on-premise and cloud environments, including VMware Cloud on AWS/Azure/GCP, network overlays, egress controls, and cost-aware architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage VMware environments including vSphere/ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, NSX (T), Aria/vRealize Suite, SRM, HCX, and Tanzu/Kubernetes.
- Architect solutions for on-premise and cloud deployments (VMware Cloud on AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Implement and manage network overlays and egress controls.
- Develop and maintain cost-aware architectures.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for critical systems.
- Troubleshoot complex issues within the VMware ecosystem.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation.
- Document system designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in VMware architecture and administration.
- Deep understanding of vSphere/ESXi & vCenter (8/9).
- Experience with VCF (VMware Cloud Foundation).
- Proficiency with VMware Lifecycle Manager.
- Experience with network overlays and egress controls.
- Familiarity with cost-aware architectures.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in 24/7 critical environments.
- Analytical and troubleshooting mindset.
- Team collaboration and documentation discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
- VMware certifications such as VCPDCV, VCAP, or VCF Specialist.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $166,400 – $208,000 per year (Estimated)
