About the Role:
Comspark Group, a global technology firm with over 18 years of experience in resource outsourcing and specialized in advanced technologies, is seeking a senior, qualified professional for the role of Senior IT Project Manager (Enterprise Systems) with one of our direct clients. This is a critical role responsible for managing IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they remain on budget and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the IT project manager for assigned projects, coordinating with all stakeholders from inception to completion to achieve desired outcomes.
- For non-IT driven projects, serve as the project manager for IT-assigned deliverables.
- Work with the project team to identify and document project scope/charter, budget, resources, project schedules including milestones and risks, and project deliverables.
- Establish a meeting cadence for each project to ensure projects remain on budget and on schedule.
- Maintain project team accountability through tracking budget, milestones, risk mitigation actions, issues, and task assignments. Escalate issues timely to applicable stakeholder(s).
- Collaborate with others to establish project meeting agendas and produce project team meeting notes, including providing project status updates and reports to stakeholders.
- Close out each project in a timely and orderly manner, with documentation of lessons learned and finalizing of essential project documentation.
- Maintain an accurate master IT project list.
- Produce required IT project-related presentations and supplemental materials for meetings, including steering committee and strategic planning meetings.
- Work with IT Management and the SCDMV Project Management Office to develop, document, and codify the project planning, implementation, and management methodology for adoption by SCDMV.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of project management experience.
- 3+ years of project management experience in managing enterprise-level IT projects.
- 3+ years of experience with budgeting.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience managing system modernization initiatives.
- Experience working with state agencies.
- Experience collaborating with external vendors.
- Active PMP certification.
- Experience with ServiceNow.
Additional Requirements:
- Only local candidates to South Carolina are considered.
- Must submit local Driver’s License or any alternate resident proof.
- State/public sector experience is required.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $70 – $90 per year (Estimated)
Location: Columbia, SC
