About the Role:
Net2Source is seeking a skilled Playwright Automation Engineer with experience in Codex/Claude, Copilot & Prompt Engineering for a long-term contract role. This position is initially remote but may require relocation to Charlotte, NC, as per client needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation development, proficiency in Playwright and TypeScript, and a solid understanding of SQL. This role demands critical thinking and analytical skills to develop innovative automation solutions for enterprise tech stacks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Write and execute simple to medium SQL queries to validate data and ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand enterprise tech stacks and develop automation solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
- Analyze and troubleshoot test failures, identify root causes, and provide solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testability.
- Continuously improve and optimize test automation processes and tools.
- Leverage Codex/Claude tools to enhance existing code, frameworks, and create new ones for applications.
- Utilize GitHub Copilot in VS Code for development tasks.
- Apply Prompt Engineering and Context Engineering principles.
Required Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in test automation development role using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience leveraging Codex/Claude tools for enhancing code and creating new frameworks.
- Proficiency in API testing and SQL.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Good to have Prompt Engineering knowledge.

Visa Need H1/H4/L2 Only. Candidates need to have working experience with Codex/Claude tools to enhance existing code, framework etc. along with primary skillsets (Playwright with Typescript). Candidates should be familiar with using GitHub Copilot in VS Code, as well as with Prompt Engineering and Context Engineering, and working with different AI modes such as plan, agent, and ask. Initial Remote ( but might need to relocate when clients ask to Charlotte, NC)
Compensation & Location
Salary: $60 – $80 per year (Estimated)
