Job Description:
Sr. Full Stack Developer (Node/React)
Location: Plano, TX
Employment Type: Contract
Work Schedule: All 5 days onsite
Duration: 12+ Months
Previous VERIZON experience required.
Position Overview:
This role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing high-quality, maintainable, and scalable full-stack features using Node.js, React, JavaScript/Typescript, HTML & CSS. The developer will create RESTful APIs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement high-quality, maintainable, and scalable full-stack features using Node.js, React, JavaScript/Typescript, HTML & CSS.
- Develop RESTful APIs using Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, QA and Lead Software Engineers) to understand requirements, design solutions, and deliver software on time and within budget.
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and best practices.
- Responsible for researching technical issues and provide a clear path to resolution with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Attend work as scheduled on a consistent and regular basis.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- 2+ years of experience in databases like PostgreSQL and messaging systems like Kafka.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages, development methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in the practical application of programming languages such as React, JavaScript/ TypeScript, Node JS, HTML/CSS, Bash, etc.
- Experience working with UI/UX designers, methodology, and tools; collaborative refinement and implementation to defined specifications; previous cross-browser development experience.
- Demonstrated experience with Microservices, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, JSON.
- In-depth knowledge of relational databases, database design, data modeling with SQL and NoSQL.
- Experienced in Agile and Scrum development methodologies and processes.
- Demonstrated experience with code reviews and mentoring.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Working knowledge of DevOps practices.
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing frameworks.
.NET Technical Lead/Architect with AWS
Location: Fort Mill, SC
Employment Type: Hybrid (3 Days/Week)
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Core Technical Stack:
- Primary Language: C# / .NET (strong coding depth required)
- Cloud: AWS (hands-on understanding of services and architecture)
- Caching: Experience with Redis, EHCache, or similar caching technologies
- Database: Strong DB fundamentals, query optimization, performance tuning, Oracle Database & Stored Procedures
- Architecture: Understanding of multi-layer application architecture
System & Performance Expectations:
- Experience with low-latency systems (response times in 20-50 ms range).
- High-volume processing.
- Multithreading & concurrency handling.
- Performance tuning at code level, query level, caching layer, network/connectivity layer.
Engineering Depth Expected:
- Ability to read and analyze core libraries.
- Understand interfaces and internal code structure.
- Investigate performance bottlenecks.
- Handle caching strategy decisions.
- Understand node architecture and connectivity.
- Work with concepts like lazy loading, streaming control, and data flow efficiency.
Requirements added by the job poster:

Special Requirements
Previous VERIZON experience required. Onsite 5 days a week for Plano role. Hybrid 3 days a week for Fort Mill role.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $60 – $80 per year (Estimated)
