About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Risk Management Lead/Manager to join our team for an onsite contract position in Montvale, NJ. This role is crucial for developing and implementing robust risk management processes, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy, and driving effective mitigation plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Professional Services and a proven ability to lead complex implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain risk management frameworks, identifying and assessing potential gaps and formulating mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with risk owners to define Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), collect necessary data, and track progress on mitigation plans.
  • Partner with the analytics team to develop and implement advanced risk analytics.
  • Provide ongoing support for program administration, including monthly and quarterly reporting to committees.
  • Integrate Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) initiatives with the corporate strategy to ensure cohesive business planning.
  • Manage and integrate mitigation plans associated with enterprise risks into the overall corporate strategy.
  • Ensure good understanding of audit requirements and compliance standards.

Must-Have Technical/Functional Skills:

  • SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Professional Services: Expertise in implementing S/4HANA Professional Services on Public Cloud, with a minimum of 3-4 full lifecycle implementation experiences.
  • Order To Cash Process & Project Systems (PS): Deep understanding of the Order to Cash process and Project Systems, including engagement setup, staffing, work & deliver lifecycle, issue/change management, billing, forecasting, WIP, revenue recognition, collections, and profitability analysis.
  • Project Lifecycle Management: Expertise in project creation, resource management, billing, and revenue recognition.
  • Data Migration: Deep understanding of data migration strategies for S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations.
  • Integrations: Strong understanding of integrations with other SAP modules such as SD, FI-CO, and MM. Manage integration points between Professional Services and FI/CO, MM, and SD.
  • Core Financials & Service Delivery: Hands-on experience with core financials, project-based service delivery, billing models, time/expense processes, and integrations.
  • SAP Business AI: Exposure to SAP Business AI recommendations for professional services workflows is preferred.
  • RICEFW-lite: Ability to lead/validate data, conversions, interfaces, forms, and workflows within public cloud constraints.
  • SAP Activate & Agile: Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology, best practices, sprint-based delivery, and PI planning cycles. Proficiency in SAP Activate and agile project management.
  • Consulting Skills: Strong consulting skills with the ability to act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders.
  • Certification: SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud – Professional Services certification is preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Engagement Delivery Leadership: Own end-to-end delivery of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations for professional services clients, ensuring alignment with standard cloud capabilities and industry best practices. Lead client-facing workshops, requirements confirmation, fit-to-standard playback sessions, and functional design validation. Oversee and guide cross-functional consultants.
  • Program Governance & Collaboration: Manage stakeholder alignment across business, technology, and third-party system owners. Drive decisions, escalate risks, and ensure documented governance. Maintain transparent reporting on RAID, status, financials, and deliverables.
  • Functional Oversight & Quality Management: Ensure completeness of functional scope, including engagement/project lifecycle, billing, revenue recognition, staffing, and financial close processes. Execute functional testing and validate end-to-end scenarios. Oversee UAT preparation and issue resolution.
  • Client Relationship & Change Leadership: Act as the primary client counterpart for delivery, managing expectations and ensuring smooth communication. Guide OCM adoption strategies, particularly where process shifts impact staffing, billing, and forecasting.

Managerial Skills:

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Leadership across global/virtual teams.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, especially in SaaS environments.
  • Experience running Agile/Hybrid delivery.
  • Financial acumen to understand engagement/project margin, WIP, billing cycles, and profitability analysis.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $100 – $150 per year (Estimated)
