About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced AWS Cloud Architect to join our team in Cambridge, MA. This is a hybrid role requiring 15+ years of experience, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in the Pharma or healthcare industry. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on the AWS platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust and scalable cloud architectures on AWS.
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, and security services.
- Ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization for cost efficiency and performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to deploy and manage applications in the cloud.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on AWS best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and technologies.
- Develop and document cloud architecture and operational procedures.
- Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in IT, with a significant focus on cloud architecture.
- Proven experience designing and implementing complex solutions on AWS.
- Strong understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc.
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the Pharma or healthcare industry is highly preferred.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 per year (Estimated)
