About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cyber Security Architect / Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial for supporting enterprise security initiatives, with a strong focus on Application Security, Threat Modeling, Identity Architecture, and Azure Cloud Security. You will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions to protect our organization’s assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture and design of application security measures and drive vulnerability remediation efforts.
- Conduct comprehensive threat modeling using methodologies like STRIDE and MITRE, and perform detailed security risk analysis.
- Design and implement secure authentication and authorization frameworks leveraging industry standards such as OAuth2, OIDC, and SAML.
- Ensure secure integrations with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for identity and access management.
- Implement and maintain security for Azure workloads, including App Services, AKS, Functions, and VMs.
- Deploy and manage Azure security services such as Azure Key Vault, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Policy, and Azure Sentinel.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to embed Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices into their workflows.
Key Skills Required:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Cyber Security Architecture.
- Proven expertise in Application Security and Threat Modeling.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Security.
- Proficiency in implementing and managing security protocols like OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, JWT, and RBAC.
- Experience with a variety of security tools, including Fortify, Burp Suite, Qualys, CrowdStrike, Wiz, and Defect Dojo.
- Solid understanding of OWASP Top 10 and NIST frameworks.
Certifications:
- CISSP – Required
- Azure AZ-104 – Required
- AZ-500 / CCSP – Preferred
This is a contract position with a duration of 12+ months, offering an onsite/hybrid work model in Fort Worth, TX.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $180,000 per year
