Job Description: Data Scientist
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our team. This is a contract position with a duration of 3-5 months, located in Overland Park, Kansas. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in data science and related fields.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to analyze large datasets.
- Clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis.
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights from data to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data science solutions.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports and presentations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning.
- Design and conduct A/B tests and other experiments.
- Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the analysis process.
- Contribute to the development of data-driven strategies.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, and data mining techniques.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- Experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
- Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
- Strong understanding of data visualization tools and techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.

This role is a contract position with a duration of 3-5 months. The work location is Overland Park, Kansas. We are looking for candidates with a strong background in data analysis and a passion for uncovering insights from data.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $60 – $75 per year
