Role Summary

The role is for a Business Analyst / Product Owner with a focus on AI and business operations within the insurance domain. The candidate will be responsible for understanding insurance business operations, driving user engagement, collaborating with the tech team, and acting as a product person to manage business units. AI awareness and understanding of how AI can be applied in insurance processes are crucial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a Business Analyst / Product Owner, not overly technical.
  • Understand insurance business operations.
  • Drive daily touchpoints with business users.
  • Work closely with developers and assist with solution/design discussions.
  • Manage and coordinate with business units, acting like a Product person.
  • Understand how AI can be applied in insurance processes such as claims, billing, etc.
  • Clearly explain the technical stack used in previous and current projects.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Chatbot development
  • Agentic AI frameworks
  • Snowflake Cortex Analyst
  • LLMOps
  • Experience in business application and clear business-driven objectives.
  • Insurance domain experience required: Prefer P&C Insurance, but Life or other insurance experience is acceptable.
  • User engagement and collaboration skills.
  • Product mindset.
  • AI awareness.
  • Technical stack understanding.

Special Requirements

Locals Only (NYC or Berkley Heights, NJ). Interview process: Video + in-person.


Compensation & Location

Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 per year (Estimated)
