Role Description:

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with a strong background in Java, AWS, and the Banking Domain. This is a C2C contract role requiring onsite presence in Plano, Texas. The ideal candidate will lead support for AWS infrastructure, networking, cloud automation, and platform performance. You will mentor development teams on AWS best practices and architectural patterns, ensuring excellent verbal and written communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead support for AWS infrastructure, networking, cloud automation, and platform performance.
  • Mentor development teams on AWS best practices and architectural patterns.
  • Design and architect enterprise cloud solutions balancing security, scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
  • Manage Agile-Scrum-Sprint Ceremonies using JIRA and Confluence.
  • Oversee Data Engineering projects (Datawarehouse, Business Intelligence, Big Data, Data Analytics, Visualizations, Master Data Management).
  • Manage cloud platforms (PCF, AWS, Azure, Google) and Microservices Architecture.
  • Make design and technical decisions for Native Mobile Applications.
  • Ensure ADA compliant code is written.
  • Oversee CI/CD Tools and DevOps pipeline implementation.
  • Coordinate with back-end developers for RESTful API development.
  • Coordinate with UX designers for UX design clarification.
  • Coordinate with Business Analysts, QA, and Product Owners for requirement clarification and QA support.
  • Create mechanisms, standards, and predictable procedures for TPM and scrum team execution.
  • Simplify and improve process controls.
  • Ensure clear, concise, timely, and accurate communication (both written and verbal) with the right audience.
  • Drive business and technical discussions.
  • Ensure effective end-to-end delivery of projects and programs.
  • Develop right plans, make right connections, take right actions, and deliver the right technical solution with quality.
  • Mitigate risks effectively, balancing short-term decisions with long-term consequences.
  • Escalate issues with good judgment.
  • Demonstrate depth of business, business operations, systems, and technical operations domain knowledge.
  • Define business problems, requirements, technology, and delivery plans.
  • Build consensus, secure commitments, and negotiate positive outcomes on engineering processes, team alignment, and delivery across Client teams.
  • Influence product, project, and/or program strategy, design approaches, architecture, team, and organization.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to drive product roadmaps.
  • Address bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance business needs versus technical constraints.
  • Partner with multiple teams across multiple locations with varying priorities to ensure timely delivery of products or solutions.
  • Clarify and drive project commitments and establish clear chains of accountability.
  • Coordinate with cross-discipline team members to ensure all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Coordinate meetings with internal and external project team members to identify and resolve issues.
  • Establish effective project communication plans and ensure their execution.
  • Facilitate change requests to ensure all parties are informed of impacts on schedule and budget.
  • Analyze business situations and create processes.

Required Skills:

  • Experience mentoring development teams on AWS best practices and architectural patterns.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in designing and architecting enterprise cloud solutions.
  • Agile-Scrum-Sprint Ceremonies; PM; JIRA; Confluence.
  • Technical: Data Engineering Areas (Datawarehouse, Business Intelligence, Big Data, Data Analytics, Visualizations, Master Data Management).
  • Cloud Experience: PCF/AWS/Azure/Google platforms and Microservices Architecture.
  • Experience in making design and technical decisions for Native Mobile Applications.
  • Knowledge in writing ADA compliant code.
  • Knowledge in CI/CD Tools and DevOps pipeline.
  • Experience in coordinating with back-end developers, UX designers, Business Analysts, QA, and Product Owners.

Preferred Skills:

  • Agile (Scrum) Ceremonies (Grooming/Planning/Standup/Demo/Retro).
  • Agile Certification (CSM, PSM).
  • Agile Management Tools (JIRA).
  • CI/CD (continuous integration/continuous deployment) and associated tools (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins).
  • Microservices Architecture (experience in Cloud (PCF) or equivalent (AWS/Azure)).
  • Computer Science Graduate (Bachelor/Master).
  • Experience in programming (web/mobile development).
  • Program Management experience.
  • Experience in Banking Industry.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $60 – $80 per year (Estimated)
