Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Master Data Management (MDM) and a strong preference for experience within the healthcare sector, specifically with Medicaid or MMIS systems. This is a long-term contract opportunity offering a remote work arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Implement and manage Master Data Management (MDM) solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and accuracy across all data systems.
- Work with healthcare-specific data, including Medicaid and MMIS data, if applicable.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Master Data Management (MDM) principles and tools.
- Experience working with healthcare data is highly preferred.
- Experience with Medicaid or MMIS systems is a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in data warehousing concepts and technologies.
- Experience with SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
