Role Description:
The Project Manager will lead and deliver asset management-related initiatives across front, middle, and back-office functions. This role involves planning, executing, and governing projects related to sales/marketing & distribution, investment operations, regulatory change, and technology transformation. The PM will coordinate closely with business and IT teams to ensure timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards. Strong stakeholder management, risk management, and financial services domain knowledge are essential. Experience working with global delivery teams and vendors is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver asset management initiatives across front, middle, and back-office functions.
- Plan, execute, and govern projects involving sales/marketing & distribution, investment operations, regulatory change, and technology transformation.
- Coordinate with business and IT teams to ensure timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Manage stakeholders effectively, identify and mitigate risks, and leverage financial services domain knowledge.
- Collaborate with global delivery teams and vendors.
- Understand and apply agile methodologies, including facilitating Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Functional / Domain Skills:
- Asset Management business processes (Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office).
- Investment products: Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Mutual Funds, ETFs.
- Portfolio management, trade lifecycle, and settlement processes.
- NAV calculation, fund accounting, and performance & attribution.
- Regulatory and compliance knowledge (SEC, FINRA, AML, KYC, ESG reporting).
- Familiarity with asset management platforms and data (Order Management Systems, Market Data, Reference Data).
