Business Analyst with Pharmaceutical Experience
We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry. This role requires a deep understanding of pharmaceutical business processes and compliance frameworks.
Role Descriptions:
- Strong analytical ability, problem-solving skills, and experience working in regulated environments such as pharmaceuticals or MedTech as a Business Analyst.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical business processes and compliance frameworks.
- Working experience in Quality Management Processes and Systems in pharmaceuticals domain.
- Ability to work with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translating those needs into clear functional requirements.
- Experience in Business process mapping and requirements gathering.
- Ability to engage and manage relationships with various stakeholders, including product owners, technical team members, and external partners.
- Working knowledge of Agile methodology (User Story management, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, tasks etc.).
- Experience in Agile tools like JIRA, Confluence.
- Ability to comprehend and map Business processes into visual flows.
- Understanding software development lifecycle.
- Ability to take and understand commitment to deliver the product on time.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to foster collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and management.
Roles Responsibilities:
- Analyze, evaluate, and translate business and user requirements into clear specifications to guide development, test, and cross-functional teams.
- Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items aligned with business scope priorities.
- Engage business stakeholders to understand functional processes, pain points, etc., within pharma quality management workflows.
- Ensure all solutions meet relevant regulatory, security, privacy, and compliance standards required in the pharmaceutical environment.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), system training activities, and documentation aligned with GxP expectations.
- Be detailed, oriented, and organized to gather requirements and analyze the same.
- Collect and document functional requirements from stakeholders through various means like interviews, workshops, surveys, etc.
- Analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and negotiate priorities between technical and business teams.
- Coordinating with Technology Quality Partner, Business Owner for requirement analysis, review, approval.
- Collaborating with development validation teams for business requirements clarification, ensuring GxP regulations.
- Develop functional design documents, process flow diagrams, and other artifacts to illustrate how the system should work.
- Working with technical teams to ensure that the system is built according to functional requirements.
- Working with the Testing team to help in test plans to ensure the systems meet requirements and function correctly.
Generic Managerial Skills:
- Must be self-motivated and proactive, especially when there are opportunities to do more and make a difference.
- Need to show constant dynamism and be able to manage pressure.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
Location: Raritan, NJ
