Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in the Healthcare domain, specifically focusing on Hospice / Palliative Care. This is a remote position for candidates who are US Citizens, Green Card holders, GC-EAD, or H4-EAD.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs).
- Oversee and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business objectives.
- Analyze and document existing Medicare and Medicaid workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical staff, and management, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Work with healthcare systems such as Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Provide subject matter expertise on Hospice and Palliative Care processes and systems.
- Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and solutions.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and roadmap development for healthcare IT initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards in all project deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the healthcare industry.
- Mandatory experience in Hospice or Palliative Care is required.
- In-depth knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid workflows and regulations.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering methodologies, BRD/FRD creation, and UAT execution.
- Experience working with healthcare systems (EHR/EMR).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data analysis and reporting in a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies.
- Certifications such as CBAP or PMP are a plus.
Employment Type
This is a remote position. We are looking for candidates who can work on a W2 basis.
