Job Opportunity: Charles River Developer
We are looking for a skilled Charles River Developer to join our team. This is a contract position with hybrid onsite requirements (3 days/week) and is available in Newark, NJ or Tampa, FL.
Role Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for the configuration and development of the Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS). This includes customizing and supporting various modules such as portfolio management, compliance, trading, and IBOR. The role also involves building integrations using REST APIs, FIX protocol, and messaging frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and develop the Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS).
- Customize and support portfolio management, compliance, trading, and IBOR modules.
- Build integrations using REST APIs, FIX protocol, and messaging frameworks.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Write efficient and maintainable code in Java/C# and Python.
- Implement automation scripts for deployment and testing.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines for reporting and analytics.
- Contribute to the optimization of trading workflows.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Charles River system.
- Ensure compliance with trading regulations and internal policies.
Required Skills and Experience
- Charles River (CRD) Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience with Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS).
- Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL, Java/C#, and Python.
- Integration Technologies: Experience with REST APIs, FIX protocol, and messaging frameworks.
- Financial Markets Knowledge: Understanding of financial markets, investment management, and portfolio trading systems.
- Development Practices: Experience in automation, data pipelines, and trading workflow optimization.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
