Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow ITSM Developer with extensive experience in implementing and managing core ITSM modules. This role is crucial for optimizing our IT service delivery processes and ensuring seamless user support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow development, configuration, and integration, with a deep understanding of ITSM best practices and ITIL frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • ITSM Module Implementation: Hands-on experience implementing and configuring Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, and Service Catalog modules within ServiceNow.
  • ServiceNow Development: Strong development experience using JavaScript, Jelly, Web Services, XML, HTML, and CSS to customize and extend ServiceNow functionality.
  • Configuration: Configure ServiceNow ITSM applications based on detailed design requirements, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Scripting & Automation: Utilize Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, UI Scripts, and Script Includes to automate processes and enhance user experience.
  • Workflows & SLAs: Implement and manage ServiceNow Workflows, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Import Sets, and Update Sets for efficient deployment and tracking.
  • Service Catalog Management: Create and manage Record Producers, Catalog Items, Variables, and Variable Sets to streamline service requests.
  • Integrations: Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using ServiceNow APIs and Web Services.
  • Data Management: Utilize Transform Maps and Import Sets for bulk data uploads and ensure high data integrity.
  • Platform Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and its various modules.
  • Testing: Participate in and lead testing processes, including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Performance Testing.
  • ITSM & ITOM Processes: Maintain a strong knowledge of ITSM and ITOM processes to ensure best-practice implementation.
  • Agile Development: Work within an Agile/Scrum methodology and follow the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for all development activities.
  • Mobile & Virtual Agent: Leverage experience with ServiceNow Mobile App and Virtual Agent for enhanced user interaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience as a ServiceNow ITSM Developer.
  • Certifications: Must hold a ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, Jelly, Web Services, XML, HTML, CSS, SQL queries, and LDAP queries.
  • ITSM Modules: Deep understanding and practical experience with Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge Management, and Service Catalog.
  • ServiceNow Features: Experience with ServiceNow Mobile App, Virtual Agent, Workflows, SLAs, Import Sets, Update Sets, Record Producers, Catalog Items, and integrations.
  • Platform Understanding: Solid grasp of ServiceNow platform architecture and modules.
  • Methodologies: Experience with Agile/Scrum and SDLC.
  • ITIL Knowledge: Knowledge of ITIL framework and industry standards.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
