Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Engineer with 10+ years of experience in building scalable, high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java backend development, Microservices architecture, and modern distributed systems, along with experience working with streaming platforms and NoSQL databases. Exposure to AI tools or AI-driven applications will be considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and manage Microservices-based architectures for high availability and performance.
- Develop real-time data processing pipelines using Apache Kafka and Apache Flink.
- Work with MongoDB and other NoSQL databases for large-scale data storage and retrieval.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust APIs and backend services.
- Implement event-driven architectures and messaging systems.
- Ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Integrate AI tools or AI-based solutions where applicable to enhance application capabilities.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve system performance.
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in Java backend development.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
- Experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven systems and messaging.
- Knowledge of Apache Flink for real-time data processing.
- Experience working with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and distributed system design.
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI tools or AI-based integrations is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of data streaming and large-scale distributed systems.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100 – $150 per year (Estimated)
