Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ODI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Oracle Data Warehouse, and PL/SQL development. This role involves working onsite 3 days a week in Boston, MA, or in Jersey City, NJ. We are looking for local candidates only.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
- Develop and optimize complex PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
- Work with Oracle Data Warehouse environments to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Implement and manage ODI agents, configure logs, and handle certificate installations.
- Develop Python and Linux/Unix scripts for automation and data manipulation.
- Utilize version control systems like Bitbucket or Git for code management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues using application logs and other diagnostic tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environment using tools like Jira.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to clean code principles and unit testing best practices.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
- 7+ years of experience in Oracle Data Warehouse.
- 7+ years of experience in PL/SQL development.
- 7+ years of experience in Linux environments.
- 7+ years of experience in Python scripting.
- Proficiency in building PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts.
- Experience with ODI administration tasks (Agent setup, logs configuration, certificate installation).
- Strong experience with Python and Linux/Unix scripting.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices, unit testing, and clean code principles.
- Experience using Bitbucket or Git for version control.
- Strong troubleshooting skills using application logs.
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) using tools like Jira.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in Private Banking or Financial Services domain.
- Knowledge of financial applications such as FIS AddVantage, CRD, or CRM Pivotal.
- Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
- Knowledge of dbt (Data Build Tool).
- Exposure to cloud data platforms or hybrid architectures.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $70 – $90 per year (Estimated)
