Job Description: QA Automation Lead
We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Lead to design, develop, and implement robust automated testing solutions. This role requires strong technical skills in automation frameworks, programming languages, and CI/CD integration to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and execution of automated test scripts using Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps.
- Perform code reviews for automated test scripts to ensure quality and maintainability.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in automation best practices.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and report them clearly and concisely.
- Work closely with product managers and developers to define test strategies and test cases.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage for all new and existing features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test automation infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on test automation.
- Strong experience in designing and implementing automated test solutions using Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium.
- Proficiency in C# and .NET technologies.
- Experience with unit test frameworks such as NUnit, XUnit, or MSTest.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD integration.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with API testing and performance testing is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
About the Role:
This is an onsite position in Oakland, California, with a contract duration of 6 months. The QA Automation Lead will be instrumental in driving our automation strategy, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and fostering a culture of quality within the engineering team. You will work on challenging projects that require innovative testing approaches.
