Job Description:

We are looking for a Kafka Field Engineer with strong production support experience to manage, troubleshoot, and support streaming data platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and be able to work closely with development and operations teams to ensure smooth system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L2/L3 production support for Apache Kafka environments
  • Experience with Kafka monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Monitor Kafka clusters and resolve performance and connectivity issues
  • Troubleshoot message lag, broker failures, and consumer/producer issues
  • Work with tools like Apache Zookeeper for Kafka cluster management
  • Support deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Kafka clusters
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure platform stability
  • Participate in incident management and root cause analysis

Compensation & Location

Salary: $70,000 – $120,000 per year (Estimated)
