Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled AWS Java Developer with over 11 years of experience to join our team. This role requires expertise in AWS, Java, Kafka, API development, Spring Boot, Spring, Microservices, and RESTful services. The position is based in either New Jersey or Alpharetta, Georgia, with an onsite requirement. Candidates must be local to NJ or GA and possess a valid DL or ID. Face-to-face in-person interviews will be conducted in Berkley Heights, NJ, and Alpharetta, GA.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust Java applications leveraging AWS services.
- Implement and manage Kafka for real-time data streaming.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Utilize Spring Boot and Spring framework for efficient application development.
- Ensure applications are scalable, reliable, and performant.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS and Java technologies and best practices.
Required Skills and Experience
- 11+ years of professional experience in Java development.
- Strong proficiency in AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
- Hands-on experience with Kafka.
- Expertise in API development and microservices architecture.
- Proficient in Spring Boot and Spring framework.
- Experience with RESTful web services.
- Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Location and Interview Details
- Locations: New Jersey (Onsite) and Alpharetta, Georgia (Onsite).
- Candidates must be local to NJ or GA.
- A valid Driver’s License or ID is required.
- Face-to-face in-person interviews will be conducted in Berkley Heights, NJ, and Alpharetta, GA.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
