Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS R12 Consultant / Application Developer to design, develop, and support applications within Oracle Financial Applications (R12) at Amazon. The role involves building scalable and high-performance solutions to automate financial processes that support millions of financial transactions daily. The ideal candidate will have strong Oracle Financials expertise, deep development experience, and strong problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable solutions within Oracle Financials R12.
- Build and support applications that integrate with Oracle Financial systems.
- Develop RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions).
- Create solutions using Oracle Forms, Reports, XML Publisher, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Design and develop web services and integrations around Oracle Financials.
- Work closely with functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Handle large data volumes and complex financial business processes.
- Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and reliability standards.
- Participate in full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Lead or contribute to architecture discussions and technical decisions.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 Architecture.
- Hands-on experience developing RICE components.
- Expertise in SQL / PL-SQL development.
- Experience with Oracle Forms, Reports, and XML Publisher.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling and performance optimization.
- Experience developing solutions in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) environments.
- Ability to work in large-scale distributed systems.
Functional Experience:
- Experience supporting Oracle Financial modules including: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR).
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience working with Oracle Financials.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience building high-performance enterprise applications.
- Proven ability to lead development efforts on complex software systems.
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including: Coding standards, Code reviews, Source control management, Build and deployment processes.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $90,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
