Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Apex Developer to join our team for a contract position. This role involves developing and maintaining applications using Oracle APEX, contributing to the enhancement of our client’s systems. The position is hybrid, requiring some on-site presence in our Redwood City, California office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications using Oracle APEX.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Perform database development and tuning using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and user interfaces.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to APEX applications.
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and security standards are met.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Document application designs, processes, and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Oracle APEX Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Experience with Oracle database versions 12c, 19c, or later.
  • Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
