Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Solutions / Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of a Fiscal Agent Services (FAS) solution within a Medicaid Enterprise System (MES). This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, leadership, and technical teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and modern solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and implementation of FAS modules within MES
- Ensure compliance with CMS guidelines, MITA maturity goals, and federal standards
- Conduct architectural reviews and align solutions with enterprise standards
- Oversee system integrations (Eligibility, Provider Services, Pharmacy, Data Warehousing, etc.)
- Define APIs, data exchange standards, security models, and cloud strategies
- Develop architecture artifacts (diagrams, data flows, roadmaps)
- Ensure compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and state security policies
- Participate in governance, change reviews, and solution lifecycle management
- Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams
Requirements
- Strong experience in cloud architecture and enterprise solution design
- Hands-on experience with large-scale government or healthcare systems (Medicaid preferred)
- Knowledge of CMS, MITA, NIST, HIPAA, and interoperability standards
- Experience with system integrations, APIs, and cloud adoption strategies
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
Additional Information
This is a hybrid role located in Virginia, with an expected duration of 6 months. The interview process will be in-person.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
