Job Title: Embedded Robotics Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Robotics Engineer to join our team. This role requires a strong background in embedded systems, C++, and robotics. The ideal candidate will have experience designing new systems and working with hardware communication protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop embedded software for robotics applications.
  • Implement real-time operating systems (RTOS) solutions.
  • Utilize modern C++ (C++11 and onward) for software development.
  • Work with smart pointers, templated classes, and abstract classes.
  • Design new systems in C++, not just debug or maintain existing code.
  • Integrate and test hardware communication protocols, specifically CAN and CANOpen.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex embedded system issues.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in Embedded Linux.
  • Experience with RTOS is required.
  • Experience with ROS is preferred.
  • Strong command of modern C++ (C++11 and onward).
  • Demonstrated experience with Smart Pointers, Templated Classes, and Abstract Classes.
  • Proven experience in designing new systems in C++, not just debugging or working on existing code.
  • Experience with hardware communication protocols, specifically CAN and CANOpen.
  • Understanding of robotics and automotive systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
