Job Description: Data Analyst with Qlik Experience
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with a strong background in Qlik cloud report development and experience in the Pharma or Health Insurance payer industry. The role is based in Dallas, TX, with a hybrid work model requiring 3 days in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data analysis using SQL.
- Conduct data analysis using Python or similar programming languages.
- Develop Qlik cloud reports and dashboards.
- Perform data analysis using Microsoft Excel.
- Apply expertise in Pharma or Health Insurance payer industry data (e.g., Aetna, Cigna, Elevance, HCSC).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven insights.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support business decision-making.
- Prepare and present reports and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the analysis process.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data analysis processes and tools.
- Work closely with IT and business teams to ensure data availability and accessibility.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data analysis procedures and reports.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data analysis and business intelligence.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
- Support ad-hoc data analysis requests from various departments.
- Contribute to data governance initiatives.
- Assist in the development of data models and data warehousing solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance data analysis capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies.
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings and projects.
- Provide training and support to other team members on data analysis techniques and tools.
- Develop and implement data quality checks and validation rules.
- Analyze large datasets to identify business opportunities and risks.
- Create dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Perform root cause analysis for data discrepancies.
- Contribute to the development of predictive models and forecasting.
- Ensure that all data analysis activities align with business objectives.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the business domain to provide relevant insights.
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Foster a data-driven culture within the organization.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience performing data analysis using SQL.
- Proficiency in performing data analysis using Python or similar languages.
- Demonstrated experience in Qlik cloud report development.
- Experience in performing analysis using Microsoft Excel.
- Mandatory experience in Pharma or Health Insurance payer industry (e.g., prior projects at clients like Aetna, Cigna, Elevance, HCSC).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Special Requirements
Hybrid work model (3 days in office). Pharma or Health Insurance payer industry experience mandatory.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 per year (Estimated)
