Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM Lead to spearhead enterprise project controls and scheduling solutions. This role involves owning the end-to-end functional design, implementation, and delivery of Primavera P6 EPPM platforms. The position requires a blend of functional expertise, technical oversight, and team leadership, serving as a crucial link between business stakeholders, customers, and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Functional Leadership & Solution Ownership:

  • Own the functional vision, design, and deployment of Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM solutions.
  • Lead implementation across Primavera Web, P6 Professional, Team Member, and Web Services.
  • Design and govern enterprise project control processes, including project scheduling and forecasting, Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis, risk and delay impact analysis, and resource planning and optimization.
  • Ensure adherence to project management best practices, standards, and governance frameworks.

2. End-to-End Delivery Accountability:

  • Own delivery outcomes, including scope, timeline, quality, and functional accuracy.
  • Lead planning, execution, and monitoring of large-scale implementations.
  • Identify risks, system gaps, and dependencies, and drive mitigation strategies.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex scheduling, reporting, and integration issues.

3. Team Leadership & Management:

  • Lead and manage a team of Primavera functional consultants, schedulers, and technical specialists.
  • Oversee work allocation and prioritization, delivery readiness, and quality reviews of schedules and reports.
  • Drive team capability building through mentoring and coaching.
  • Establish and enforce enterprise standards for project controls and reporting.

4. Project Controls & Reporting Governance:

  • Manage enterprise project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Develop timelines, track progress, and forecast risks/delays.
  • Perform critical path analysis, what-if scenario modeling, and variance analysis.
  • Govern user access and admin configurations, schedule import/export, and BI Publisher and Primavera Analytics reporting.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy for executive stakeholders.

5. Integration, Infrastructure & Platform Management:

  • Lead installation, upgrades, and health checks.
  • Oversee cloud migration of Primavera applications (P6 EPPM, Unifier, Analytics).
  • Manage integrations using Primavera Web Services and APIs (SOAP/REST).
  • Manage platform components including Oracle Database / MS SQL Server, WebLogic, Oracle HTTP Server, Tomcat, OBIEE, Oracle WebCenter, and AutoVue.

  • Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM (core expertise)

  • Exposure to Azure (preferred)

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Primavera Unifier
  • Cloud migration experience
  • Advanced reporting & dashboards
  • Enterprise-scale implementation experience

Experience Required:

  • 4-6 years in Primavera P6 EPPM / project controls.
  • Experience leading teams or modules in large implementations is preferred.

Special Requirements

100% Remote. Full-time Contract.


Compensation & Location

Salary: $150,000 – $180,000 per year (Estimated)
