Role Description:
We are looking for an experienced Android QA Engineer to join our team. The role involves testing Android applications, with a focus on automotive OS (AAOS) or projection systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our Android-based products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases for Android applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing of UI and API functionalities.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking systems like JIRA.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback.
- Automate test cases using relevant frameworks and tools.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure new features do not impact existing functionality.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on application quality.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development and testing trends.
Technical Skills Required:
- Strong familiarity with Android OS, Java, Kotlin, and preferably Android Automotive OS (AAOS) or projection systems.
- Experience with API test automation and UI automation.
- Proficiency in Git for version control.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
- Strong debugging skills and understanding of HTTP protocols.
- Familiarity with JIRA for bug tracking and project management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience as an Android QA Engineer or in a similar role.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
About the Project:
This role is part of the Pandora AAOS/Projection QEs team, focusing on enhancing and testing the Android Automotive OS and projection system functionalities. The contract duration is approximately 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
Special Requirements
Contract duration: 6 months. Employment Type: C2C.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $50 – $70 per year (Estimated)
