Job Title: NetSuite Revenue Recognition Specialist
We are seeking a highly experienced NetSuite Revenue Recognition Specialist with over 10 years of experience to join our remote team. This role is critical for supporting our global operations and ensuring compliance with revenue recognition standards.
Job Summary:
The NetSuite Revenue Recognition Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation, enhancement, and automation of revenue recognition processes for products and services sold globally. This role requires strong expertise in NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) and the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process. The ideal candidate will possess full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) capabilities, from requirement gathering through deployment and support, leveraging native NetSuite functionality and modern automation/AI-driven approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the end-to-end implementation and enhancement of NetSuite revenue recognition processes.
- Configure and optimize NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) to automate revenue recognition workflows.
- Address global revenue recognition requirements for both products and services.
- Participate actively in requirements gathering, analysis, solution design, documentation, development, testing, and post-implementation support.
- Ensure that solutions primarily leverage native NetSuite capabilities.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process automation and optimization using AI-enabled tools and methods.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and technical stakeholders.
- Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement of revenue recognition processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in NetSuite.
- Strong expertise in NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM).
- In-depth knowledge of the NetSuite Order-to-Cash (O2C) process.
- Proven experience with the full SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and support.
- Experience in configuring and optimizing NetSuite modules.
- Familiarity with automation tools and AI-driven approaches in finance and accounting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple priorities.
- Understanding of global revenue recognition standards and best practices.
Additional Information:
The client operates in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone. This is a fully remote position.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
