Job Title: .NET Architect – AWS Migration & Modernization
We are looking for a highly experienced .NET Architect with a strong background in AWS migration and modernization to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for leading the transformation of legacy .NET applications into modern, cloud-native solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in C#, .NET Core, microservices, and cloud technologies.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Serve as an Architect / Technical Lead for AWS migration and modernization projects.
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure microservices architectures on AWS.
- Lead the modernization of legacy .NET Framework applications to .NET Core/.NET 6/7/8.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
- Utilize AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB effectively.
- Implement and manage containerization using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
- Apply architectural patterns like Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Clean Architecture.
- Ensure strong database performance and scalability with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Redis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 12+ years of experience in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core/.NET 6/7/8.
- Proven experience with microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven systems.
- Demonstrated experience in modernizing legacy .NET applications.
- Hands-on experience with key AWS services: Lambda, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, S3, RDS, DynamoDB.
- Strong database skills including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Redis.
- Proficiency in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes/EKS.
- Experience with testing tools such as xUnit, NUnit, Moq, and Testcontainers.
- Solid understanding of architectural patterns including DDD and Clean Architecture.
Location and Employment Type:
- Primary Location: Fort Mill, SC
- Secondary Location: Austin, TX
- Employment Type: Hybrid (3-4 Days onsite per week)
- Day One Onsite/Hybrid requirement.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $110 – $150 per year (Estimated)
