Job Description:
We are looking for a Lead .NET Developer / Senior Full Stack Software Engineer for a long-term contract role. This position requires 3 days a week in the office in Fort Mill, SC, with the possibility of transitioning to 5 days a week. The client is LPL.
Role Overview:
The Senior Full Stack Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and enhancing components and applications. This involves working with functional and detail design requirements, programming languages, and adhering to change management and quality assurance processes. Collaboration with team members to produce necessary documentation, estimates, and other artifacts is crucial for timely, within-budget, and within-scope project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, design, program, test, implement, and deploy software applications using appropriate documentation, processes, and quality standards.
- Provide business and project expertise in collaboration with clients, IT resources, vendors, consultants, and other stakeholders to identify user requirements, assess technologies, and recommend/implement technical solutions.
- Apply analytical skills to understand system requirements.
- Apply knowledge of application architecture principles.
- Perform formal code reviews to ensure specifications and standards are met.
- Apply defined code management, build, and deployment standards and practices.
- Independently apply problem-solving skills to investigate and research complex system problems to establish root cause and resolution.
- Ensure accuracy of coding, create technical documentation, and utilize software configuration, version, and quality management processes.
- Work with project participants to maximize productivity, effectiveness, and timely completion.
- Work independently with minimal direct supervision, exercising independent judgment to obtain results.
- Share information willingly when appropriate; recognize confidential information and handle with discretion.
- Undertake special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12+ years in a structured environment working on systems, applications, programming, development, testing, implementation, and deployment.
- At least 10+ years of in-depth knowledge and experience in: C#, .NET Framework 4.5+, .Net 5+, T-SQL, REST API, Entity Framework.
- Experience writing W3C compliant accessible HTML5 markup.
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript command-line tools such as npm.
- Experience with software development lifecycle using structured processes.
- Practical knowledge of Agile principles and ability to lead SCRUM ceremonies.
- Experience with cloud development (Azure preferred).
- Competent with tool use to manage code management, unit testing, integration testing, version control, and prototyping.
- Mortgage origination experience is preferred.
- Ability to understand a broad range of technologies and think in terms of “enterprise wide” solutions.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field required.

- This is a long-term contract role.
- The work location is onsite in Fort Mill, SC, with 3 days per week in office (potential to increase to 5 days).

Compensation & Location
