Job Title: Snowflake Architect

Location: Mt Juliet, TN (Onsite)

Job Type: Contract

Requirement: Need Local candidate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement end-to-end Snowflake data warehouse solutions.
  • Define data architecture, data modeling, and performance optimization strategies.
  • Lead migration from legacy/on-prem data warehouses to Snowflake.
  • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake and integration tools.
  • Implement Snowflake best practices (clustering, partitioning, caching, resource monitors).
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather data requirements.
  • Ensure data governance, security, and compliance within the Snowflake environment.
  • Mentor data engineers and guide development standards.
  • Optimize query performance and cost management.

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture and administration.
  • Expertise in SQL and advanced query optimization.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake schema).
  • Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, Matillion, DBT, etc.).
  • Hands-on with Snowflake features (Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, Zero Copy Cloning).
  • Data modeling experience (Dimensional & Data Vault preferred).
  • Experience with performance tuning and cost optimization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Snowflake Certification (SnowPro Core / Advanced).
  • Experience with Python or Scala.
  • Exposure to BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of data governance and security frameworks.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with real-time ingestion (Kafka, Snowpipe).
  • Experience with dbt and ELT framework.
  • Knowledge of Terraform or Infrastructure as Code.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $70 – $90 per year (Estimated)
