Job Description: AWS Connect Solutions Engineer
We are seeking a skilled AWS Connect Solutions Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing solutions using Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, AWS Lambda, and other related AWS services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud-based contact center solutions and a passion for leveraging technology to improve customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement contact flows within Amazon Connect to optimize customer journeys and agent efficiency.
- Develop and integrate conversational AI experiences using Amazon Lex for intelligent virtual agents.
- Utilize AWS Lambda to build custom logic, integrate with backend systems, and automate processes within the contact center.
- Configure and manage AWS Pinpoint for customer messaging and engagement strategies.
- Integrate AWS Connect with other AWS services such as Amazon DynamoDB for data storage and retrieval.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS Connect and associated services.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and cost-effective.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and best practices for contact center solutions.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience with Amazon Connect.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Lex for building chatbots and virtual agents.
- Proficiency in developing serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
- Experience with AWS Pinpoint for customer engagement.
- Strong understanding of Amazon DynamoDB for data management.
- Familiarity with service design principles and a developer background.
- Experience with AWS customer engagement tools.
- Ability to configure contact flows and build reports in AWS Connect.
- Experience integrating AWS Connect IVR with platforms using APIs and AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with multiple AWS services, including at least two AI services.
- Strong scripting skills and ability to implement AWS environments as code.
- Automation-focused mindset.
Nice to Have Skills:
- AWS certification is a plus.
- Experience with service design.
