Role: Senior Data Engineer/Architect
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer/Architect with 12+ years of experience to join our client’s team. This role involves working with various Azure services and data technologies to design, develop, and maintain data solutions.

Job Description:
Responsibilities include running template-based campaigns on various VMs and VMSS to emulate real-world attacker behaviors using automated bots. Analyze campaign logs, identify detection coverage limitations, and plan for improvements. Troubleshoot any campaign failures and analyze data stored in Kusto, writing KQL and handling complex KQL queries to extract meaningful data. Generate various reports and dashboards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run template-based campaigns on VMs and VMSS to emulate attacker behaviors.
- Analyze campaign logs and identify detection coverage limitations.
- Plan and implement improvements for detection capabilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with campaign execution.
- Analyze data stored in Kusto using KQL.
- Write complex KQL queries to extract meaningful insights.
- Generate reports and dashboards based on analyzed data.
- Design and implement data orchestration using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Work with RDBMS concepts and SQL.
- Collaborate with teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience in PowerShell (5.1 and later).
- Proficiency in JSON.
- Hands-on experience with Kusto and ADX reporting.
- Strong ability to write and handle complex KQL queries.
- Knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with data orchestration using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Good understanding of Microsoft Azure technologies, including Azure VM, VMSS, Runbook, and Azure PS.
- Strong programming techniques and concepts.
- Solid understanding of RDBMS concepts.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Good to Have Skills:
- Knowledge of Azure Security engineering.
- Experience with Azure security monitoring and S360.
