About Moody’s CreditLens:
Moody’s CreditLens is a cutting-edge, cloud-based platform powered by artificial intelligence, designed for comprehensive end-to-end commercial credit lifecycle management. It features automated financial spreading through QUIKspread, advanced risk rating capabilities, and streamlined underwriting processes. The platform is engineered to accelerate loan origination, enhance data accuracy, and seamlessly integrate with CRM systems, ultimately speeding up critical credit decisioning.
Role Summary:
The CreditLens Configuration & Administration Specialist will be instrumental in configuring, administering, and providing support for Moody’s CreditLens modules. This role is crucial for ensuring that the system effectively meets diverse business requirements across both Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and Commercial Real Estate (CRE) portfolios. The primary focus will be on managing identity and access, configuring deal structures, setting up deal pipelines, managing covenant configurations, and facilitating data extracts. This will be achieved by leveraging standard CreditLens functionalities and specialized tools like CreditLens Advanced Designer (CLAD). The specialist will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to guarantee accurate and efficient system configurations.
Key Responsibilities:
- CreditLens Configuration & Administration: Configure and maintain CreditLens Identity and Access Management (IAM), including the creation and management of up to 10 system roles and up to 40 users. Enforce role-based access controls within the standard CreditLens capabilities. Support the configuration of CreditLens single sign-on (SSO) using SAML 2.0-compliant authentication systems as needed.
- Deal Structuring Module (CLAD): Configure the Deal Structuring module using CreditLens Advanced Designer (CLAD). This includes creating or modifying up to 10 deal attributes, deleting, hiding, relabeling, or setting existing fields as read-only, and assigning default values to existing fields. Ensure all changes align with standard CreditLens product functionality and apply configurations across C&I and/or CRE portfolios as required.
- Deal Pipeline Configuration: Configure standard C&I and CRE deal pipelines. This involves modifying labels for existing pipeline stages, adding up to 25 columns across existing pipelines, deleting existing deal stages where appropriate, and configuring up to 10 deal-level attributes to capture specific business data needs. Ensure all pipeline configurations remain within supported CreditLens functionality and coordinate with stakeholders without performing historical deal cleanup.
- Covenant Module Configuration: Configure CreditLens Covenant Module attributes. This includes creating or modifying up to 10 attributes, deleting, hiding, relabeling, or setting fields as read-only, and applying default values where appropriate. Ensure all configurations are applied within existing covenant view models and standard product limitations.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support: Partner closely with business users during configuration UAT periods (up to 15 business days per configuration). Analyze reported defects and remediate configuration-related issues within the defined scope. Validate configuration accuracy prior to production readiness.
- Data Extracts & Integration Support: Configure and maintain one (1) standard CreditLens data extract and up to three (3) custom data extracts. Support data delivery to enterprise data warehouses or downstream systems. Coordinate with data, reporting, and integration teams as necessary.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with Moody’s CreditLens, specifically with C&I and CRE modules.
- Strong understanding of credit lifecycle workflows, deal structuring, pipelines, and covenant management.
- Proven experience in application configuration (not custom development).
- Proficiency in role-based access controls and user administration.
- Familiarity with SSO concepts, with SAML 2.0 being preferred.
- Experience supporting UAT processes and defect remediation.
- Ability to effectively translate business requirements into system configurations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong documentation discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience utilizing CreditLens Advanced Designer (CLAD).
- Background in banking or financial services, with a preference for commercial lending experience.
- Experience supporting data extracts or downstream reporting platforms.
- Prior involvement in system implementations or post-go-live optimization efforts.
Working Style:
- Must be detail-oriented, structured, and process-driven.
- Comfortable working within vendor and product constraints.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business, IT, and risk stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills, capable of supporting both technical and non-technical users.
