About the Role:
We are looking for a Manual Tester with extensive Mobile testing experience to join our dynamic team. This is an onsite contract position located in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience with defect tracking tools and basic SQL for backend validation is also required.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing primarily focused on Mobile platforms (Android, iOS).
- Conduct end-to-end testing of payment flows.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking tools like JIRA or Rally.
- Validate backend data using basic SQL queries.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Ensure all testing activities are well-documented and adhere to established standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong manual testing experience, primarily focused on Mobile (Android, iOS).
- Hands-on experience in end-to-end payment flow testing.
- Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Rally).
- Basic SQL knowledge for backend data validation.
- Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with Perfecto is an added advantage.
