Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Android Developer with expertise in Kotlin to join our dynamic team. This is a 100% remote position where you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, backend developers, and product managers, to build user-friendly, scalable, and performance-driven Android applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mobile app architecture, best coding practices, and experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust Android applications using Kotlin.
- Collaborate effectively with designers, backend developers, and product teams to translate requirements into functional applications.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party services seamlessly into the application.
- Debug and resolve application issues, continuously improving performance and user experience.
- Adhere to best coding practices and actively participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.
- Work within an Agile/Scrum development methodology, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Android application development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin programming language.
- In-depth knowledge of the Android SDK.
- Experience working with REST APIs and Web Services.
- Solid understanding of mobile application architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVC).
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

This is a 100% remote position. Candidates must be either US Citizens (USC) or Green Card holders (GC). We are looking for individuals who are passionate about mobile development and eager to contribute to innovative projects.

Salary: $90,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
