Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced MuleSoft Architect to design, develop, and lead integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate will define architecture, guide development teams, and ensure scalable, secure API-led connectivity across systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design end-to-end integration architecture using API-led connectivity principles
  • Lead the implementation of solutions on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
  • Define best practices, governance, and standards for APIs and integrations
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements
  • Create high-level and low-level design documents
  • Oversee API lifecycle management (design, development, testing, deployment)
  • Ensure security, performance, scalability, and reliability of integrations
  • Mentor and guide developers and integration teams
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
  • Expertise in RESTful APIs, SOAP, API design
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture
  • Knowledge of messaging systems (JMS, Kafka, etc.)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MuleSoft certifications (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect)
  • Experience in enterprise integration patterns
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Experience:

  • Integration/architecture roles
  • 3+ years of hands-on MuleSoft experience

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Compensation & Location

Salary: $75 – $95 per year (Estimated)

Location: San Ramon, CA
