Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly technical Senior Integration Engineer to provide hands-on support for client applications utilizing IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and MuleSoft. The ideal candidate will serve as a Data Integration, API, and ETL developer, responsible for creating real-time, on-demand, batch, and scheduled data interfaces and processing between various internal and external systems and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement solutions using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and MuleSoft.
- Design and develop message flows, subflows using IBM IIB/ACE, including MQ, HTTP, and Database nodes.
- Integrate with legacy systems and work with REST, SOAP, and Security (OAuth).
- Design and develop integration flows using MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, implementing API-led connectivity (Experience, Process, System APIs).
- Design APIs using RAML/OpenAPI and utilize various connectors (Salesforce, DB, HTTP).
- Work with Anypoint Platform components like API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Exchange.
- Manage multiple technical, business, and testing efforts, ensuring the Integration/Interface position is well-organized.
- Gather requirements, design solutions, implement them, and support go-live and post-implementation phases.
- Provide hands-on development, design, implementation, deployment, and support of business solutions based on IIB/ACE and/or MuleSoft technologies.
- Experience working with GitHub/Bitbucket and CI/CD pipelines.
- Programming in Java or Python is considered an advantage.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Data Modeling, OLAP Design, API & ETL: 7+ years of experience in data modeling, OLAP design, and implementation of APIs and ETL processes, procedures, and execution for data cleansing and refreshes.
- Integration Technologies: 5+ years of experience with integration via web-services, API, and ETL management.
- IBM IIB/ACE: 5+ years of hands-on design, development, and implementation experience with IBM IIB/ACE.
- Microservices Architecture: 5+ years of strong technical experience, knowledge, and understanding of micro-services architecture.
- Integration Patterns: 7+ years of hands-on experience building integration patterns, processes, and managing, deploying, and supporting APIs.
- Oracle & PL/SQL: 7+ years of experience with Oracle and PL/SQL.
- Frameworks: 7+ years of experience leveraging common frameworks such as message queuing, caching, complex mapping, branching, and parallel processing.
- Data Formats: 7+ years of strong understanding and knowledge of data formats JSON, XML, Flat Files (CSV, Fixed-Width).
- Troubleshooting & Debugging: 7+ years of experience with troubleshooting and debugging.
Highly Desired Skills:
- MuleSoft Development: 2+ years of hands-on technical experience in developing and supporting solutions using MuleSoft.
- Anypoint Platform/Studio: 2+ years of hands-on experience with Anypoint Platform and Anypoint Studio.
- MuleSoft Technologies: 2+ years of experience in building integration flows, APIs, and connectors using MuleSoft technologies such as Mule Runtime, DataWeave, and API Manager.
- AWS Cloud Platform: 2+ years of experience with the AWS cloud platform.
Desired Skills:
- Scripting Languages: 2+ years of proficiency in scripting languages such as Groovy, JavaScript, Python, Perl, Bash, JSON, etc.
