About the Role:
We are seeking a highly technical Application Architect with a proven track record in system modernization, specifically within the .NET / Azure space. This role is crucial for driving clarity and actionable plans in a complex environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for modernization while remaining pragmatic about business needs, balancing the need for modernization with ongoing program requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead application architecture for a front-end and back-end modernization effort for an internal employee-facing mobile application.
- Take on other large-scale project work related to the overhaul and system design of other internal systems.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams, vendors, and vendor teams.
- Drive clarity and action in a complex, ambiguous environment.
- Balance modernization efforts with current business needs and large-scale programs.
Required Experience:
- Proven track record of System/Application modernization within the .Net/Azure space.
- Strong experience in Microservices, including orchestration, end-to-end data flow, read-side issues, and resiliency/failure handling on the write side.
- Must be a critical thinker with the ability to turn ambiguity into clear, actionable plans.
- Strong experience with the Microsoft Cloud stack, including backend C# and Azure Cloud Services.
- Proven system design experience.
- Experience creating and representing artifacts at Architecture Review Boards, including architecture decision records and specifications (full C4 programming).
- Mobile application experience is required.
- Experience with MAUI is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional communicator, comfortable working with both technical and non-technical team members.

- Must be a highly technical Architect.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $70 – $70 per year
