Role Overview

The SAP FICO Consultant is responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules based on business requirements. The role involves close collaboration with Finance stakeholders, technical teams, and business users to ensure accurate financial processes and compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering: Analyze business requirements from Finance stakeholders. Translate business needs into SAP FICO solutions and functional designs.
  • SAP FICO Configuration:
    • SAP FI Modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting
    • SAP CO Modules: Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Internal Orders (IO), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), CO-PA (Profitability Analysis)
  • Documentation & Functional Design: Prepare Functional Specifications (FS). Maintain configuration and solution design documents.
  • Testing & User Support: Prepare and execute test cases. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Coordinate with business users for issue resolution.
  • Technical Coordination: Coordinate with ABAP team for RICEF objects. Support enhancements, reports, interfaces, and forms.
  • Production Support & Closings: Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Handle production issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Compliance & Controls: Ensure compliance with accounting standards such as GAAP and IFRS. Support audit and financial control requirements.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $70,000 – $120,000 per year (Estimated)
