Job Title: Test Method Validation Engineer
We have an immediate opportunity for a Test Method Validation Engineer with 6-8 years of experience. This is a 6-month contract role located in Danvers, MA.
Role Description:
- Develop and document clear Test Method Validation (TMV) protocols and reports.
- Create detailed test procedures, acceptance criteria, and validation plans.
- Interpret test methods, specifications, and engineering drawings.
- Perform and analyze Gage R&R (Repeatability and Reproducibility) studies.
- Select appropriate measurement tools (e.g., vernier calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and R&D teams.
- Produce clear, audit-ready documentation in compliance with ISO standards and medical device regulations.
- Train operators, engineers, and quality staff on validated inspection methods and best practices.
Essential Skills:
- Test Method Validation (TMV)
- Strong understanding of measurement systems analysis (MSA) and Gage R&R.
- Knowledge of medical device regulations and ISO standards.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Documentation and audit compliance expertise.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in manufacturing engineering support.
- Familiarity with regulated environments (medical devices preferred).
