Job Overview:
Stellar IT Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Oracle Cloud ERP Functional Architect for a hybrid role, requiring candidates to be local to the Washington D.C. metropolitan area (DMV). This position involves managing the functional aspects of Oracle Cloud implementation and support for key financial modules. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Oracle Cloud ERP/EBS, a strong understanding of financial business processes, and the ability to design and implement robust solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all functional aspects of Oracle Cloud implementation and support for modules including Cloud General Ledger, Cloud Accounts Payable, Cloud Accounts Receivable, Cloud Cash Management, Cloud Fixed Assets, and Project Portfolio Management Cloud.
- Analyze, design, and configure Oracle Cloud ERP to meet best practice business needs through technology solutions.
- Collaborate closely with client teams to understand requirements and design effective solutions.
- Analyze clients’ current state processes and develop future state technical recommendations.
- Execute day-to-day activities including process design, leading configuration workshops, identifying gaps, defining RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Workflows, and Forms), and supporting testing phases.
- Participate in requirement gathering sessions, analyze business requirements, and align them with best practices for functional solution implementation.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of internal processes and intellectual property.
- Define new business processes and refine existing ones.
- Participate in project planning, providing subject matter expertise and estimating work efforts.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Familiarity with state/local government accounting, financial, budget, and grant training is a plus.
- 12+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud ERP/Oracle EBS.
- Minimum of 2+ full-lifecycle Oracle Cloud Financials implementation experience.
- Proven experience in full life-cycle project development, including Requirements gathering, Design, Development, Testing, and Roll-out.
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise Structures and module-specific configurations within Oracle Cloud ERP.
- Ability to perform requirement analysis and deliver functional design documents for the specified modules.
- Capacity to quickly understand business requirements and translate them into functional concepts and designs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated experience in multiple business processes, with the ability to architect and design technology solutions.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams, projects, and vendor relationships.
- Ability to lead and design Oracle Cloud ERP project solutions, managing all aspects of Oracle Fusion and financial applications, support, and operations.
- Broad business background and good interpersonal communication skills.
