Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer with experience in Apigee to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable backend applications, designing and implementing RESTful APIs, and managing the API lifecycle using the Apigee API Management platform.

  • Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and manage API lifecycle using Apigee API Management platform.
  • Configure API proxies, policies, security, throttling, and analytics using Apigee Edge or Apigee X.
  • Integrate backend services with databases, messaging systems, and third-party APIs.
  • Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth2, JWT, and API security best practices while ensuring high performance and scalability.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Hands-on experience with Apigee API Management platform (Apigee Edge or Apigee X).
  • Familiarity with integrating backend services with databases, messaging systems, and third-party APIs.
  • Knowledge of API security best practices, including OAuth2 and JWT.
  • Strong understanding of performance and scalability principles.
