About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Workday Extend Developer for a remote contract position. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in Workday HCM technical development, focusing on designing and building secure, scalable, and native applications within the Workday platform using Workday Extend, APIs, and App Framework to enhance HR and Finance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy custom applications using Workday Extend (low-code/no-code tools).
- Integrate Workday with internal and external systems using Workday APIs and web services.
- Collaborate with business and functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Customize and enhance Workday HCM modules and business processes.
- Ensure application security, performance, and compliance within the Workday ecosystem.
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain applications and integrations.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 6-8 years of experience in Workday HCM technical development.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Extend and Workday App Framework.
- Strong knowledge of Workday APIs, integrations (REST/SOAP), and data migration.
- Experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors.
- Understanding of HR and Finance business processes.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Workday certifications (Extend, Integration, or HCM).
- Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.
- Exposure to security and compliance standards within enterprise applications.
