Job Title: Alert | Netcool Developer (Cloud Pak for AIOps)

We are actively looking for a Netcool Developer with Cloud Pak for AIOps expertise for a long-term contract opportunity. If you have strong experience in IBM Netcool and AIOps platforms, this is a great opportunity to work on cutting-edge hybrid cloud integrations.

  • Location: Basking Ridge, NJ
  • Duration: Long Term Contract
  • Rate: DOE / Open to negotiation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate and migrate Netcool Operations Insight (NOI) into Cloud Pak for AIOps
  • Connect Netcool/OMNIbus & Netcool/Impact with AIOps using native connectors
  • Migrate event filters, automations & runbooks
  • Ensure bidirectional event synchronization across platforms
  • Configure event mapping & transformation (JSONata)
  • Develop automation policies using Netcool/Impact, Python, Bash
  • Support ML-driven AIOps (event grouping, anomaly detection, risk analysis)
  • Build topology-driven, application-centric infrastructure views
  • Integrate tools like Splunk, ServiceNow, Slack
  • Troubleshoot complex hybrid cloud environments

Required Expertise:

  • Strong experience with IBM Netcool Suite (OMNIbus, Impact, Probes, Gateways, Web GUI)
  • Hands-on with Cloud Pak for AIOps
  • Experience in DevOps / SRE environments
