Role Overview
We are seeking a Jr. QA Analyst to support testing lifecycle deliverables and ensure successful implementation of test strategies for the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT). This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform testing on custom applications and GIS components
- Develop test plans, execute test cases, and analyze results
- Support Agile testing processes and collaborate with business/technical teams
- Participate in defect triage meetings and demos
- Assist in UAT preparation, execution, and documentation
- Track and report testing status, risks, and issues
Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years of QA/testing experience in software development
- Strong experience in manual and/or automated testing
- Experience with test plans, test cases, RTM, and UAT
- Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Hands-on with defect tracking tools
- Experience with GitHub and ServiceNow
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing GIS applications
- Exposure to public sector projects
- Mobile testing experience (plus)
- Certifications like CAST, CSTE, CSQA, CMSQ
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field

Compensation & Location
Salary: $40 – $55 per hour
