Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Automation Engineer with a strong background in network layers 2, 3, and 4. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Python and Java, with a preference for those who have worked with Temporal workflow, ServiceNow, and device configuration using TL1/CLI commands. Experience in Agile/SAFe programs is also highly desirable. This role requires a solid understanding of programming concepts and the ability to write software code in at least one programming language.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement automation solutions for network infrastructure.
- Write and maintain scripts in Python and Java for network device configuration and management.
- Collaborate with network operations and development teams to identify automation opportunities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network automation tools and scripts.
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of automated network processes.
- Participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies and contribute to program planning and execution.
- Document automation processes, scripts, and configurations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in network automation.
Required Skills:
- 5-7 years of experience as a software developer, with a specialization in network automation.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in Network Layer 2, 3, and 4.
- Proficiency in Python and Java programming languages.
- Strong understanding of programming concepts.
- Experience working in Agile / SAFe programs.
Advantageous Skills:
- Experience working with Temporal workflow.
- Experience working with ServiceNow.
- Experience in device configuration using TL1/CLI commands.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, IT, Computing, or equivalent.
- 7-8 years of experience as a software engineer or a software support engineer.
Special Requirements
Domain: Telecom. Interview: Virtual, prepared for onsite round 2. Need LinkedIn. Minimum 3 days a week in office.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
